ELULS.org  ELULS Affiliates Stay Active in 2007

The ELULS Affiliates have been an active group in 2007. By mid-year we will have had five Affiliate-attorney networking socials around the State in 2007…and we are working on more to come later in the year. I’d like to recognize the sponsors of these socials - they are:

We have a social scheduled for 21 June 2007 in Ft. Meyers. The sponsors are Frank & Gramling, Environmental Risk Management, Inc. and Jupiter Laboratories. This is our first social in Southwest Florida. Please plan to come and take advantage of this excellent networking opportunity! Invite prospective members!

After this, we are looking to schedule the next social in September 2007. We are looking for sponsors for this and later socials which are being planned. If you are interested – let us know soon – sponsorship opportunities for these fill up fast.

The Affiliates will be participating actively in the August 2007 Amelia conference. We have seven Affiliate speaking slots filled. The Affiliates have published several articles in the last four ELULS Section Reporters – and I’d like to recognize and thank them for their efforts:

• Conservation Banking in Florida – by Sheri Ford Lewin of Mitigation Marketing (April 2007); and

The ELULS Section Reporter is very accommodating to receive articles by Affiliates. If you want to publish, please let us know. This is yet another great opportunity for our Affiliates to provide timely quality information for ELULS attorney members.

The Affiliates will be involved in a new upcoming ELULS Webinar series which will be launching soon – stay tuned for more on that! Let us know if you are interested in helping participate in an upcoming Webinar.

LAWYERS – please be aware that our Affiliate members have expressed a willingness to be a resource for you (as evidenced by the above active involvement). When you want to team with a technical consultant – consider teaming with an Affiliate member’s company. When you have a need for a technical presentation think about giving an Affiliate member a shot at it. And, when you want to co-publish a technical article, please consider involving an Affiliate. We love working with ELULS members!
