The Section’s Law School Liaison Committee provides faculty and students with the opportunity to take advantage of various opportunities offered through the Section. The Section asked several of its members to serve as the “liaison” to the law school and each Florida law school now has a Section member assigned to the school who serves as the Section’s point of contact and will facilitate the flow of information to the students and faculty. Among the various opportunities offered by the Section are the funding of environmental forums and conferences, reimbursement of moot court expenses, the Maloney writing competition, awarding minority fellowships available through a program jointly sponsored with the ABA, and most recently, making the Treatise available to all the Florida law schools.
