The Environmental and Land Use Law Section, part of The Florida Bar, is dedicated to serving the interests of over 2,000 members and affiliates through educational programs and publications. The section sponsors five to six seminars and workshops during the year, and offers course materials from past programs. The Section's two volume treatise Florida Environmental and Land Use Law is a comprehensive guide to the field. The Section Reporter, a quarterly newsletter, publishes topical articles, as well as current information on section programs, agency updates, state and federal caselaw, and appellate activity. The Section Column in The Florida Bar Journal, is a regular forum for scholarly writing. For members of the public, the Section publishes a series of brochures on environment and land use law topics.

The Section's activities are governed by an Executive Council and conducted through several Committees. If you are interested in working with one of the committees, contact the chairman of that committee. If you are interested in contributing your time and talents to the Section but don't see an appropriate committee, contact the Section's Chairman.  For information on joining the section, ordering a publication or registering for a seminar or workshop, contact the Section's Chair, Robert Riggio at (386) 252-3004 or the Section Administrator, Jackie Werndli at (850) 561-5623 or jwerndli@eluls.org.
