The
purpose of the Law School Liaison Committee is to coordinate the
Section’s activities with Florida’s law schools in order to
stimulate student interest in environmental and land use law.
The committee accomplishes this purpose through a variety of
activities which seek to benefit law schools, their students and the
communities they serve both academically and financially.
In recent years, increases in the number of Florida’s law
schools as well as scholastic and professional opportunities, Section
sponsored and otherwise, have increased the need for involvement by
faculty and alumni in the Committee’s activities. This has resulted
in a committee goal to have one or more such individuals on board for
each of Florida’s law schools before the end of the year
